Online – Full Beginners

This course is designed for complete beginners – no prior knowledge of Slovak is required. 

The course follows the structure of the Krížom krážom curriculum, developed by Comenius University in Bratislava. The textbook series is organised according to CEFR language levels, with each book covering one specific level.

We use its structure as a guide to ensure
that all important A1 grammar, vocabulary, and communication topics are
covered systematically. However, the lessons are not taught directly from the textbook. The teacher prepares original materials, speaking activities, and exercises tailored to the needs of the group.

Throughout the course, students work with a shared online document,
where all grammar explanations, vocabulary, examples, class notes, and
homework are collected. This gradually becomes each student’s
personalised study material, making it easy to review everything covered
in class.

By the end of the course, students will have built a solid
foundation in Slovak and will be ready to continue with the next A1
course.

You will study in a mini-group of 3–6 students, which ensures plenty of speaking time for everyone and a supportive, interactive atmosphere.

By the end of the course, you will be ready to continue seamlessly in a follow-up course, gradually progressing toward conversational Slovak.
