This course is designed for students who have already completed the first part of A1 level and are ready to continue building their Slovak step by step.
Our lessons follow the learning sequence of the Krížom krážom curriculum, developed by Comenius University in Bratislava. The textbook series is organised according to CEFR language levels, with each book covering one specific level.
We use its structure as a roadmap to
ensure that all important grammar, vocabulary, and communication topics
are covered in a logical order. However, we do not teach directly from the textbook. The teacher prepares original lessons, exercises, speaking activities, and additional materials tailored to the group’s needs.
Instead of working with a traditional textbook, students use a shared online document
throughout the course. This document contains everything covered in
class—grammar explanations, vocabulary, examples, exercises, homework,
and notes—creating a personalised study guide that grows with every
lesson. All course materials are therefore kept in one place and are
always available for revision.
The course focuses on building confidence in everyday
communication while gradually expanding students’ vocabulary and
grammar. By following a clear structure and using practical, interactive
materials, students develop a solid foundation for continuing to the
second half of A1.
Students continue from approximately Lesson 7, ensuring a smooth progression through the A1 level.
